Hi Friends!

Hope you all had a nice Christmas holiday and I thank all of you who sent us lovely Christmas cards. I didn't ever get around to sending any this year. We are currently having alot of rain - almost an inch so far and 50 degrees. It's so dark that the timer on my Christmas lights just came on. Snow is to the west of us. Glad we are not getting it! I had my Christmas dinner at 6 last night and the kids came over for about 4 hours. Kyle's girlfriend came too. I baked a chicken and made gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, fresh steamed cabbage and garden peas, rolls, sweet potato biscuits and country ham. I made four kinds cookies and sent those home with the kids. Ashley gave me the DVD set of the Sopranos series. I had never seen any of it. She also gave me some dark chocolate candy and some coffee for my new Keurig pot. Kyle gave me a new ipod and some LED candles since I am allergic to regular candles. Edward gave me a spotlight for spying in the fishpond at night and also a beautiful sterling dogwood flower necklace. He said he thought it was a 4 leaf clover and I told him he did good by accident because I liked them both! I'll attach a pic! I told him not to get me anything! Anyway, it was a nice day.
